However Aldous Huxley's book "The Doors of Perception" came out after William Blake's book titled "The Marriage of Heaven & Hell". Aldous Huxley named his book after a quote in William Blake's novel.
"If the doors of perception were cleansed everything would appear to man as it is, infinite."
